No nonsense, proven reliability and multiple plumbing configurations mark Waterway's Hi-Flo side discharge spa pump. By simply removing the motor cover from the back of the pump, one can loosen the four thru-bolts and then rotate the plastic wet end to horizontal discharge. This makes it easy to plumb the pump in tighter quarters; which is often the case in a cabinet enclosed spa or hot tub. A 2" intake and discharge means more flow and higher water volume. A true 48 frame motor and easily serviceable wet end make the Hi-Flo a proven workhorse. Please note that these pumps are replacement pumps and do not come with cords. Generally, when the hot tub comes from the factory the pump has a cord that's plugged directly into a spa circuit board. When replacing your pump it is recommended to use the existing cord (if cord integrity is uncompromised). We highly recommend consulting with a qualified electrician if there is any confusion on how to wire your replacement pump. The motor of the replacement pump will have a wiring diagram and often times the wire configuration will not be identical to your old pump.
