Pressure Side Cleaners use water pressure the source of which is either the existing return inlets in the pool or a dedicated pressure line to which a booster pump is attached. This booster pump is generally located near the primary pool filter system and is fed by filtered water after the heater and any chemical feeders. Cleaners using a booster pump generally clean more rapidly because of the increased water pressure. If your pool has multiple return inlets some may need to be equipment with smaller orifices or blocked to direct as much flow as possible to the return to which the cleaner hose will be attached. These cleaners are easy to detach from the pool and use a relatively small diameter hose usually less than ¾ inch in diameter.
