"I can't tell you how much fun my children have with the
GlowBuoy. I know it is not designed as a toy but it is
one of their favorite pool toys anyway. My daughter
Jenny is five and really just getting her swimming legs,
so, her favorite thing to do is use the GlowBuoy as a
paddle board, most especially at night. Her brother Adam
is two years older and must think he is Jacques Cousteau
because he and the GlowBuoy seem to live on the bottom
of the pool when he is playing with it. He and his
father have this game where they try to get it to float
upside down and when they get bored of that they see if
they can get it to float upside down from the bottom of
the pool, but, the darn thing keeps righting itself
before it reaches the top. Their Dad has posted a $5.00
reward for the first person to succeed in getting it to
stay upside down in the water no matter how the attempt
might start. I think we have invented the GlowBuoy
Olympics they seem to have invented so many different
games with it. I have to tell you your light is
fantastic. It lights our pool much better than our
regular lights and the kids just love it."

"I purchased the optional table stand and hanger for
my GlowBuoy this past summer, we bought our GlowBuoy the
year before and when I saw the accessories in our local
pool store this last August I had to have them.
We had a power failure last winter that lasted for 12
hours and my husband got our GlowBuoy out of the
basement and it literally saved our bacon. I had to cook
Bacon and Eggs on the Coleman Stove because the power
had only just gone off before dinner. We did not have
the table stand then, and so, Bob just laid the GlowBuoy
on its back to light the kitchen and nook while I cooked
something quick and simple with our camping gear.
Even though we have a pool, we still love camping and
go at least 4 or 5 times every summer. That power outage
showed us just how useful the GlowBuoy could be so we
started to take it camping with us every time. It's
funny because I was going to write you a letter telling
you all of the different ways we use it and it seems
that no sooner had I decided to do that, then I saw the
accessories in our pool store. You read my mind, thanks
for making the GlowBuoy and thanks for making it easier
to use out of the water."

I am writing this letter because I owe an apology to
my wife, whom I accused, falsely, I have been told to
add, of wasting family money and being a spendthrift. We
have, or I should say had, what I thought were perfectly
good pool lights, they aught to have been, I paid around
$1,500 for them if my memory is serving me correctly.
Three days ago Brenda came home with one of your
lights, the GlowBuoy, bragging about how it was the best
pool light in the world and we had to have one. I lost
my temper and scolded her about spending money and how
she falls for every line that every salesman gives her.
I told her that it was obvious to anyone that thing
could not possibly light a pool, let alone our pool
which is a 20 by 40 foot irregular shape. I also pointed
out that we had only just last year spend close to
$100,000 dollars on our new pool, no small part of which
was our own perfectly good in wall lighting system; I
was upset to say the least.
Well I am eating crow now, and this letter has been
made part of my penance. I must admit, if I didn't
worship the ground she walks on; she really isn't a
spend thrift, I had a rough day at work and I brought it
home, and if your light didn't blow me away, I would not
be writing this letter. I spent over $3,000 on a 'state
of the art' fiber optic lighting system and the GlowBuoy
out performs them. Not just a little, I mean completely
out performs them, no more dark areas, anywhere and I
love the way it floats around the pool, its cool. I'm
sorry I wasted the money on the regular lights, but, I
always have them as backup I guess. Now who is the
spendthrift? I should have done my homework when I was
buying the pool instead of listening to that sales guy.
My love has accepted my apology, I am sure you will
too."

I am writing to tell you how impressed I am with the
ruggedness of the GlowBuoy. I was cleaning the pool
yesterday and I had left the GlowBuoy in from the night
before. Our back porch is about three feet higher than
the pool deck and I keep the charger and storage cradle
there under the eve of the house so it is out of the
rain when on the charger. Rita, my wife, was on the
porch so I handed the GlowBuoy to her so she could put
it back on its charger. Well either I passed it poorly
or she did not have a firm enough grip on it, because it
fell about 5 feet onto the interlock that we have around
the pool and there was this terrible bang followed by
several more as the GlowBuoy bounced down the decking
and eventually into the shallow end. I could have sworn
that it was going to go straight to the bottom; it had
to have broken, it was a terrible fall. To my amazement,
it bobbed happily in the shallow end and did not sink to
the bottom. I retrieved it right away, looked it over,
and rushed to the charger to see if it would still take
a charge because there was not even a scratch on it. It
worked! I could not believe it; I was sure it was a
goner. The GlowBuoy is an amazing light; we love it."
