Cleaning Agent | Salt Protect

Bio-Dex Salt Protect is compatible with chlorine, acid, other type sanitizers and most generally accepted pool water chemicals. Bio-Dex Salt Protect is synergistic with algaecides and the addition of one quart per 20,000 gallons pool water enhances algaecides. FIRST AID
Eye Contact: Flush eyes for 15 minutes with lots of running water. Get immediate medical attention. Skin Contact: Wash with lots of running water for 15 minutes. If irritation develops and persists, get immediate medical attention. Swallowed: Give Lots of Water. Get immediate medical attention.

GENERAL
Bio-Dex Salt Protect is non-flammable, non-carcinogenic and non-corrosive in use dilution. Bio-Dex Salt Protect is stable at all pH values, at high temperatures and provides control of problem causing metals in pool and spa and hot tub water. Bio-Dex Salt Protect is a product of choice for the solution to metal problems in pool and spa and hot tub water. It inhibits scale formation and protects equipment from rust and corrosion when it is used as directed.

DIRECTIONS:
One quart treats 20,000 gallons. Maintenance dose: 3-4 oz. a week, or 12 oz. a month per 20,000 gallons.
1.NEW POOL:Follow the pool builders instructions.
2.EXISTING FRESHLY FILLED POOL: Dosage-with filter system and water circulating, add one quart (32fl. oz) of Salt Protect per 20,000 gallons of pool water by distributing around perimerter of pool water away from eyes and face.
If calcium hardness is above 250 ppm, or iron exceeds. 1 ppm, add a second quart of Salf Protect. Wait 24 hours and test pH and adjust if required.
Add chlorine per your professional pool dealers directions. Your professional pool dealer is best equipped to perform water testing. Maintain water pH in range of 7.2 to 7.6
3.EXISTING IN-USE POOL, PRE-SWIMMING SEASON STARTP-UP, OR WINTERIZING POOL: Dosage-add one quart (32 fl. oz) Salt Protect per 20,000 gallons water per above procedure. Follow above parameters regarding second quart application.
4.POOL WATER MAINTENANCE: Dosage-Add 3 to 4 oz. Salt Protect weekly, depending on water hardness and water quality. Consult your professional pool dealer or your professional pool service technician for additional assistance. Have pool water tested regularly and maintain pH range 7.2 to 7.6 and correct chlorine residual.
5.SPAS, HOT TUBS, AESTHETIC POOLS: Dosage-Add 1 oz. Salt Protect per 500 to 750 gallons of spa water. Add 1/2 oz. weekly thereafter. Always add Salt Protect with water circulating and the filter system operating.
