ABOVE GROUND POOL FILTERS
We classify In Ground and Above Ground swimming pool filters but in
actuality these filters are functionally the same. We add a pump to
create an above ground filter system. Our pumps are matched for the
individual filter size. Above ground filter systems are designed to fit
next to your above ground pool where the pump is below the water level.
These pumps generally will not prime if positioned above the water

We only sell systems from the best manufacturers including Hayward,
Pentair (Sta-Rite),Waterway.
ABOVE GROUND SAND FILTERS
Sand filter systems are the most popular with above ground pool owners.
All of our systems include a top mounted multiport valve with the
filter. This valve makes if easy to backwash the filter. We do not ship
filter sand with these systems due to shipping costs, but filter sand is
normally easily found in our local. We do ship ZEOBRITE sand alternative
as it is 1/2 the weight of sand. Zeobrite is a superior media for sand
filters as it removes smaller contaminates.
ABOVE GROUND DE FILTERS
The above ground DE filters we sell in our systems are not equipped for
backwashing but extend their cleaning cycle due to their unique design.
DE filters are capable of filtering to 3 to 5 Microns.
ABOVE GROUND POOL CARTRIDGE FILTERS
Cartridge pool filters are used almost exclusively for Spas and are
becoming the filter of choice for above ground pools. They are
reasonably efficient fall between sand pool filters and DE pool filters
in their ability to remove fine particles as low as 10 microns. The
cartridges are easily removed for cleaning. They do need to be replaced
as they will wear out. Usually twice per year but with care and good
cleaning can last for more than 1 season. |
