| The 3" Chlorine Tablets are manufactured with the most concentrated form of dry chlorine available today. They are consistent in size and slow dissolving in nature to allow you to reliably dose your pool once a week. These tablets contain cyanuric acid - a stabilizer that prevents ultra violet light from removing available chlorine from the pool. These tablets allow you to easily maintain proper chlorine residuals and help you to effortlessly produce beautiful, clean sparkling water. |
| DIRECTIONS FOR USE: |
| It is in violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labelings. |
- Adjust water pH to 7.2 - 7.6 as determined by a test kit. For pools with copper plumbing best pH factor is 7.6 - 7.8 2. If the pool has not been previously stabilized add Condidtioner and Stabilizer (cyanuric acid). Follow the directions for use on the label for that product.
| UNSTABILIZED POOLS: Follow steps 1 and 2 and then add two tablets per 6,500 gallons of pool water to establish a chlorine residual of 1.0-1.5 ppm. at all times as determined by a test kit.Repeat dosages as needed to maintain a residual of 1.0-1.5 ppm at all times. Thereafter, add 1 tablet per 6,500 gallons per weeks or as needed to maintain chlorine residual of 1.0-1.5 ppm at all time as determined by a test kit. |
| STABLIZED POOLS:
Follow step 1 and then add 1 tablet per 6,500 gallons per week or as needed to maintain a chlorine residual of 1.0-1.5 ppm. at all times as dtermined by a test kit. Maintain some flexibility in dosing your pool as chlorine demand will vary depending upon factors such as air and water temperature, bather load, frequency and intensity of rain or thunder storms and pool exposure. Shock your pool weekley during hot weather and less frequently in cooler periods according to instructions provided with the chosen product. |
| FLOATING CHLORINATOR:
Load floating chlorinator with prescribed dosage as per instructions on that chlorinator. Allow chlorinator to float freely in pool. Increase chlorinator by increasing dosage or by securing chlorinator in a highly agitated area of the pool. Decrease chlorination by decreasing dosage or by securing chlorinator in an area of less agitation. |
| SKIMMER METHOD:
Empty the skimmer of all chemicals and/or debris. Place prescribed dosage into skimmer basket. Length of filtration cycle will influence the rate at which the tablets dissolve. |
| IN-LINE EROSION CHLORINATOR:
Load prescribed dosage into chlorinator according to instructions supplied with the chlorinator. Adjust the chlorinator control valves to always maintain the desired chlorine residual. |
| STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
Keep product dry in tightly closed container when not in use. Store in cool, dry, well ventilated area away from heat or open flame. In case of decompostion isolate container in open area if possible and flood with large amounts of water. Do not reuse empty container. Rinse empty container thoroughly with water to dissolve all material before discarding. Place in trash collection or dispose in approved landfill area. |
